I have 2 06 450ers that are slow to crank battery about ayear old i hook up a jumper wire to a car battery and the starter spins over real good so i would like to put a larger cranking amp battery in the stock battery is 130amp stock i found a 190 cranking amp a little biger to fit i will have make the bracket biger or add two battery has anyone done this thanks for your help
Add two batteries, and wire them in series so that the starter is getting 24 volts. Kiss your starting problems goodbye.:p

well i think i fixed my starting problem i put in a BIGGER battery in went from a 130 cc amps to 190 cc seems good for now Starter spins very fast

check your compression and your valves.

how much larger is that 190cc battery? what mod did you have to do to the batter holder?

i cut the back side of the battery box off and welded a small peace of angle so it dont slide back its well worth the work that starter spins like crazy i just got sick of slow cranking battery cost about 150 ytz10s you also have tomake a longer wire for the postive side and relocate the ground to the starter
