I just rebuilt my 300 motor again. Still leaks oil but oh well. I got it running and i drove around just being easy on it and it ran fine. I went on a ride about 10 miles round trip and almost home bout a mile from my house it started cutting out almost like the reverse was on or something but it shouldnt do that. Sooo i got it home and parked and when i went to start it, it wouldnt start. so i kept kicking it over and now i think the timming chain fell off the ebottom sproket cause it turns over really easy and air comes out of the intake. Is it the chain cause its a fairly new chain or the tensioner? I would hate to pull this thing apart again....... Any help would be great. Im tired of it not working.

if the chain is new the tensioner might be weak
are the teeth on the sprockets still looking good?

I havent taken it apart again but i will when i have time this weekend. I have another cam and cam gear and i just replaced the crank timing gear. Im gonna see if the tensioner is bad cause that might be the problem.
