Why does she eat stators??

Why does my banshee eat Ricky Stator Stators? I have been through 3 of them in 3-4 months. Each one lasts 3-4 rides and then stops working. It has dynatech cdi, new yamaha wiring harness and ricky stator coil.

Because Ricky Stator's suck. They don't have a very good reputation. At one point they were great but these days they aren't.

Do yourself a favor and buy a stock one, or a different brand aftermarket

OEM is the way to go for banshee stators these days, even most of the good builders say the same thing!!
