hey guys i just came back from riding today, i noticed on the right side case the 2 oil lines seem to be a little moisture of oil around them, and the bottom skid plate seems to have a little oil on it too, could this be from the o rings for the lines or is it the side cover gasket? sorry for the sucky pics.

there are 1 small oring behind each of thoes lines, local hardware will have them, super easy to replace, top line is return i belive and will not leak when removing, but bottom is pressure line and will leake bad so tilt the bike or do an oil change wile your at it.

is it a special flat o ring or is that what i am seeing since mine is flattened from the heat? or is it a regular o ring? cuz i have a bunch of them and dident want to pay 3 bucks each at the local dealer

they're just regular o-rings.

ok hopefully, i think mine is most likely the return line o ring since it only leaks like this when i ride, and when its sitting it stays clean.

i'd go ahead and replace both of them just to mkae sure you get the problem the first try. it'll give you a good excuse to change the oil too:D

i took my o ring out and it dident seem so torn or messed up, but i guess i have to remove the other bottom one and inspect them both tomorrow during the day, i just hope it solves my problem, i hope my case isent cracked or something under my skid plate. i have a little thicker o rings but the same size, is it safe to use?

i am also trying to avoid changing the oil lol, since it only has like a few rides on it. its still a bit clear

Also you might want to check you oil filter cover, if you just changed you oil recently, that might be the culprit. It kind of looks like your leak is coming from above your oil lines.

yea i was looking at the oil filter cover carefully, i noticed there is only some dust attracted to the top of the cover but not enough to leak, i replace the o ring for the filter every oil change so that should be good, im going to take out the bottom engine skid plate today and inspect the case carefully for cracks or a damaged gasket, and i will change both o rings for those lines, is there another gasket or o ring for the bolt right below the 2nd line?
