When i hit the start button the lights go out and it will spark on a bolt on the other side of the frame. Maybe my ground wire is bad? and now my lights wont come back on

sounds like the main ground cable? and maybe your fuse blew out

i have a feeling its the main ground cable and something to do with that rectifier right next to the ground wire, that black finned box is for the lights

tighten the bolt where it sparks, not grtting a good ground

the ground cable is on there nice and tight so i dont think that is causing it

Also disconnect the cables from the battery and make sure that the terminals are clean and reattach them. Sometimes dirt gets under the wire and you don't get a good contact.

i already cleaned them and still nothing

or trace the wires to the starter, see if you have any open chaffed away wires maybe touching the frame?

Try to throw the charger on the battery and fire it up. Mine did this and it was caused by a dead battery..

make sure all the bolts on the subframe are securely connected, i had a problem like this with that being the problem

ya there all tight but maybe since it got powdercoated where the frame is meeting the subframe isn't getting connection? but ya i did alright clear the powdercoat away from the ground wire and nothing

also make sure our header is securely attached to your muffler

how would that make it not get a good ground?

idk but it happened to me, the subframe did not have a good ground and the muffler pipe was rusted and i took off the clamp so it was not really touching and it would spark at the headpipe/muffler. Idk just throwing out ideas.
