so i got the idea to start build a mini quad racer for a project or pit bike. I have been looking at the jbmods and that is the way i would like it. i got a blaster frame that i chopper the top rails off and started to mod it. plan to build a custom sub-frame,add a 300ex swingarm with mods and some other things as well. cr85 motor look to be the hot ticket but i looking at a kx 85 engine as far as power how does it range and has anyone install one in there mod. any pic or info would be great thanks. what is typical front and rear travel on the mods.

We had a CR80 and CR85 (CR80 was completely rebuilt and modded to a 90)in our Blaster Hybrid never had a KX,but here they are a great motor to use.We changed a few things including adding YFZ radiator.
Good luck on your build! Post up some pics when your done!
