I want to order a set of bars and handguards, as well. I'm looking at Renthal Fatbars or Pro Taper Contours with a TrailTech clamp.

I'm concerned that I'm going to order the wrong handgards, as I see most of them are designed for 7/8" bars and I've heard that some don't fit the oversized bars well even with other hardware.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Here's what I'm looking at...

I'm hoping someone has this combo and can tell me that it will work...

Ok, since nobody seems sure about this combo, how about naming a bar and handguard combo that will work?

... Pretty please. :)

Look at this kit it comes with everything, i believe it will work with the big bars because they are only 1 1/8 at the mounting part and then taper back to 7/8 where you hold on at

I don't think those will work. Don't most of these handguards have 2 connection points, one of which being down at the wider spot?

I think I have the right stuff picked out, I was just hoping someone could verify it for me...

I think my dad has that set up and it seems to work pretty well
