Does anybody know who makes the quietest aftermarket pipe? I know FMF has the Q series and I think Whote Brothers is comming out with a new quiteter pipe. Anyhelp would be good.

I think the Pro Circuit has a quiet end cap. but I don;t think ya can quite that down all the much.

I would geuss that the FMF quite series with the powerbong header which is supposed to dampen soudns aswell.

Just keep stock, its the quitest and you won't hardly see any powergain with a quiet exhaust to make it worth your money. I would buy a fcr carb instead.

yah, nausty is right -- if you want power, noise is just a by-product. Keep it stock if you want a quiet pipe.

I believe the yoshimura RS-3 pipe can be toned down to a near stock decibal level while still making a bit more power. And yes, the FMF Q series pipe is a good choice. I run the pro-circuit T4 on my 400 and I don't think it's that loud. It has a deep, powerful growl to it.

The megamax I heard, which was on a Suzuki 500 Quadrunner, was kinda loud. Actually a higher pitched (raspy) loud than my DG.

the megamax is not quiet. do not get the magamax if you are looking for quiet. i hate it when people just go on hearsay. i dont care if you can reiterate others' opinions, if you know from experience, tell us.

The new e-series q series looks so awsome. I would get a carb, hi compression piston and cam first if you are looking for quiet. Should be about the same as a full system, and you will get more power out of it.
