Got my mud tires on. I bought these Bighorns last year ran one race on them (Crawfordsville Ironman GNCC) on my 1987 Suzuki LT250r. They work great in mud and work pretty well in dry conditions as well. They are 21x11x9 and I have never seen any for sale since, I am not sure how many were made. I love the rims, I got them from Rocky Mountain since my stock 09 rims are 10" and I wanted two sets anyway.

Those are some serious meats! Looks like a good option for certain conditions. I would be interested in a set if they are still available.

Good luck turning with those stock front tires with all that grip in the back...

All I can say is, "test test test."

Those are the coolest looking tire on that machine. I can't imagine they work very well but man they look cool. You need to put some RAZR2's on the front, 23X7X10. That would honestly be an awesome trail set up. I might acutally do that when I'm done racing mine.

i cannot find these at all nor have I ever seen them offered in this size until your post.

I would like to get a set of rears for my scrambler (already running 23x7x10 RAZR2's up front)

A 22x11x10 would be ideal so it doesnt throw my 4wd out of wack.

I have never seen these tires offered on anything less than a 25" diamter tire and a 12" rim.

any idea on how much one of those tires weighs?

when i bought them, it was the first time i saw them, and also the last. I think they are relatively rare. I snapped them up quick, I got them on an ebay store for $130 shipped last October. I weighed them last year mounted on a very lightweight rim and they were 21 lbs, so not too bad.

These tires are also available in a second edition which is lighter and same lug pattern just not as deep. Better for acceleration. There was a small blog about it in the last Quad magazine. They used it on a Polaris UTV. I am sure they would make a good option.

Based on the legendary Bighorn, the new Bighorn 2.0 is a lightweight version that mimics the tread design of the original, with a slimmer profile. Radial construction provides better shock absorption, allowing for a smoother ride. The non-directional pattern provides predictable cornering and claws up roots and rocks, creating optimum climbing confidence. The Bighorn 2.0 boasts a 6-ply rating, offering the durability that you’ve grown to expect from Bighorn tires.

From Maxxis, the sizes are 24 and up...but it says that about the original bighorns too.

I wish there were some 20 inch Bighorns readily available, they are great tires for certain conditions are a decent all around tire.

I just saw this picture in Dirtwheels. The letter said the owner was going to get an Outaw 525 IRS. Wonder if there is a correlation. Small World
