Well.......... I learned a valuable lesson today. Unregistered motorized vehicles are not covered by homeowners or auto insurance UNLESS they are used to service the insured's residence. Therefor the quad and the RZR are not covered. I am arguing over the RZR since it is a UTV and can be used around the yard for yard work and hauling stuff. There will be some litigation over that if they don't come around on that one. I can't afford a $20K loss, especially given todays economy. That's not even considering how badly the loss of the truck is going to hit me.

I know my chances are slim on getting this stuff back but you never know. The cyber community can usually act quicker than any police department. Here are some PICs again. I've posted on several Forums that I'm familiar with. Insurance offers a $1000 reward and I'll offer up another $1000. I have also written the local paper in Clinton and they stated they would run the article. Any help circulating this info is greatly appreciated.

Please learn from my mistake and make sure you know what your insurance covers and protect yourself. There are lots of tracking devices out there these days but I didn't have any.

NOTE the yellow ball on the wench........ It's a fishing float and probably not on any other RZR

This is how they found the truck. The cap was removed and some cheap steel wheels installed in place of the new Michellin's.

The cops think they used my VIN # to get new keys cut. I'll be pushing them to run a check on all the employees at the nearest GM dealer. I also found out that a semi trailer full of stolen ATVs was found in upstate SC a few months ago. Sounds like an organized crime ring. I'm trying to get more details on the semi trailer.
