exhaust packing

i was just wondering if i could use auto-body fiberglass for exhaust packing? You can get it in several different forms, and it's really cheap, would it be ok to use?

i need one more sheet and i'll have it packed. I don't really see any difference in how its made. I'll see how it works by the end of this week hopefully
