question about boots

i am looking for some riding boots. i ride a 400ex and i need to know if i should get shorty boots or the regular type boots since i'm on an atv. or is it just a matter of opinion and what feels best?

I trail ride in Fly 3/4 boots that are very comfortable. I use Alpinestar for mx though. I would either for with a full boot of the 3/4 boot. I would stay away from the shorty boot. I recommend the ATV trend too so you can walk around. Regular bike mx boots are too smooth on the bottoms IMO.

If you decide to get full boots get some gaernes. They're 100% worth the extra money.

That is a matter of opinion. The TCX pro's are better IMO than the SG-10's which I wore for two years.

dont sacrafice safty..... go with full boots. ive never had a problem with ym shift combats. very comfy. also very cheap. ive mine for over a year now and they're still going strong.

I prefer SIDI, but any of the hinged style boots are AWESOME!!!
