Wont Start

just got a dvx 400 when you try to crank it it wont start you have to pull it off after it warms up it will crank with no problem it does not smoke an has a lot of power just does not crank when its cold any ideas ?

You and the guy in the "Answers" post apparently have the same bike. Haha! Get a manual and check your valve shim clearances. Most likely that will be your problem.

If it is your valve shims then your fine a kit of shims is like 85 bucks but you can buy just individual shims too which is cheaper if you get the right ones

Thats happened to mine a couple times just had to shim mine two days ago.
