What are you guys with 250r hybrids running for intakes? I have a 426 motor in mine and im not happy with the intake and airbox. Just a home made piece. I was wondering what you guys run. Here's what ive got now. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn244/kyledvor61/DSC03560.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn244/kyledvor61/DSC03558.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn244/kyledvor61/DSC03557.jpg
I was wondering if an FCI would fit, since I really dont need an airbox, just put an outwear over the filter

The Laeger YZ426 I had ran an LT500 airboot and a CFM aluminum 250R airbox.
PM me if you need a LT500 airboot, I have one for sale.

What about an air box eliminator kit from ESR! If you dont want to run the airbox, that would be the way to go!

Since I dont need an aribox, I think im just gonna get an FCI
good intake tube, sturdy clamping and the filters are a good size

for being so different it looks like you could use something like i used on my 350rx build.
i cut out the air box and had HRE weld it together for me. i have the intake tube coming in the left side of the front of the box and with the cr500 shock set up i have it looks like it would work for you too.
i gave him my pattern i made to cut out the box....he should still have it.

Thanks for the pics. But since I dont need an airbox, I'm thinking im gonna get an FCI and just put an outerwear on it and run no airbox, since for how I ride I dont need it.

I have an aluminum intake that doesn't use an airbox forsale and a jrd airbox that uses a lt500 boot for a really clean set up. 30 for the aluminum tube, 60 for the airbox. You pay shipping let me know.
