I have a question on proper compression for a pump gas 250r; what's an average reading for a used motor?
I've read that 180+/- is a good number for a fresh broken-in high-octane pump gas motor; properly tuned.
I'm tearing mine apart after sucking up some water; definitely doesn't have the same "feel" anymore, even a couple days later. It tested at 155psi+/- over a couple different tries.
What's too low; what's too high??
