View Full Version : steering stem bearing ???

honda trx450r put new steering stem bearing in noticed there is side to side slop. wonding if anyone else had this and what they did to correct it. i am thinking of just shimming it.

think you got the wrong one? i put some in mine and they have to be tapped in they are that snug!

tried two different bearings one from honda the right one and one from a truck store, same number bearing. they are tight going in the tip have to tap them in but once it is down in the hole it moves around been through two or three bearings one i pulled out was shattered so i think it wore the inside out.
