I just rebuilt my dvx and it won't start it has compression its getting gas and has spark. Tried startingg fluid and still won't start any help would be much appreciated

Is your timing correct?

I set it at tdc and put the cams the right way and had 14 1/2 pins on the timing chain because i have hot cams i have no other clue what could be wrong

does it knock when it turns over? does it even turn over?

ya it turns over it just dosn't want to fire but it chatches in gear idk what it could be????

Are your valves shimmed to spec?

yea if your valves arent shimed correctly your exhaust might be opening late so when your intake is opening the exhaust is still some what open and your losing fuel through your pipe and losing fuel is also losing compression

My Kibble Whites are being shimmed as we speak and their only 2 months old and mine wouldnt start either

what all did you rebuild ?

I have seen plugs that will fire when held to a ground but wont fire under compression

you need gas, compression and spark all in the right time
(one of these are not present)
