Down here in SC they seem to have this grass called pompass grass. I had never seen it. During one of the first shoots of the day, I saw this lone piece of tall grass in my way, leaned forward to snap it off, like you would a branch and BAMMOOO! To the bone.

Thankfully I was able to stop the bleeding, tape it up and kept shooting. I hit the hospital on the way to the GNCC this evening. Sore as a mofo!!!

Now the funny part....

Im down here shooting for can Am and their 2010 model intro. So, I walk into the main lobby of this location and the only folks in there are Can Am big wigs. Ofcourse, walking in with a blood a soaked rag around my hand had them all wanting to help. The head engineer of can am runs over and asks what happened....and I reply "I cut it on a piece of grass".

Well, between my hick pronunciation and him being from Canada and is more used to hearing French over hill-jack engrish, he thought I said "I cut it on your piece of crap!":eek:

The look on his face was priceless, and when he asked me a second time and figured out I wasnt calling his work crap he offered to help...lol

Great people for sure!!! Had a blast until i cut my damn finger:ermm:

i get cut up by that grass all the time at work, but never that bad! it's like a razor.

We have some on both sides of our driveway and I grabbed a piece going by on my bike when I was younger... ouch haha
