Ok,
I am in the process of trying to buy a head and then have it ported. While looking I ran across this head,
cylinder head has been ported by sparks* , also features Oversized Valves and Aftermarket Springs. cylinder has 0 time on it since being reconditioned . this head has some of the best 4 stroke porting in the industry and is ready to go . head is engraved by sparks .
Now curtis sparks is a well known and respected name in the industry, I have no real doubt about quality. What I am looking for in my rebuild is a fast and reliable fire road and trail ridden EX. It is going to be 76mm bore 11 to 1 wiseco and use a stage one hotcam with a 400ex carb. I had not planned on over sized valves or after market springs. I just don't want to over spend on something that will not suit my purpose.
Any advice?
