I need to remove the needle bearings from my 87 swingarm but the manual tells me I need a special tool to get them out. Does anyone know of a way to get them out without the special tool. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can't get much easier than that. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Or a deep well socket that fits right in there.

i had to use a piece of pipe. ( you can ruin your socket if you hit it hard enough). I also had to use heat on one of them too.

That's what lifetime warranties are for.

on the swing arms that are open in the center i use an all-thread with a nut en washer on both ends and a 3/4 drive socket to pull the old bearings through. this process can also be used to install the new bearings.
