There are several different write ups on it over at z400central but the FCR39 would prolly be better.

450R Carbs are 41mm

YFZ450 Carbs are 39mm

There are a myriad of sizes for the FCR.

Most 250 4 Stroke dirtbikes use the FCR37mm, Just about anything above that uses a 39mm or a 41mm.

Either carb will be fine for any setup really. the only difference is 2mm. Not that much.

FCR's can be found on eBay. They came stock on alot of machines as well.

I had an FCR37 on my '04 LTZ. It was a HUGE night and day difference over the stock P.O.S. Mikuni BSR.

Theres a jetting database that should get you in the ballpark.

Unless you are good at fabrication you will have to get a honda thumb throttle and a 450r throttle cable.

Honestly. take your stock boot and you carb to the hardware store, or Lowes or Home Depot. You should be able to find something that will work.
