2005 yfz 450? buy or not to buy

well i'm looking to buy a yfz 450
i'm looking at an 05 with ac nerfs
Oil and cam mod
08 a-arms
full exhaust
aftermarket axle waved roator
itp rims and tires
it's also got a swinger skid
frame guards
look to be in very good shape
i can get it for a little over 3 grand
nothing claimed wrong with it
also has gtyr head light covers
is this to much for an 05
another thing that worries me is that it has an esr intake?
it looks like a k&n with a outerwearer
i've previously came from dirt bikes and it was part of the religion
not to run k&n air filters
anything would help it looks good and didn't say anything about motor mods from haveing a yzf400 years bike there isn't any need for more power

if the motor's stock and with all the parts that are on it is it worth this price if everything checks out

Doesn't sound like a bad deal, especially considering it has the oil mod. What brand exhaust does it have?

If its in good shape, and doesn't seem to have any problems I would say its worth the money.

The ESR is an A+ IMO. I just bought mine and love it. It is a K&N filter and it's not religion to not run them on a quad. lol. Only intake that's better is the FCI but that's a $230 intake.

I bought an 05 se for 3000. It's got ron woods exhaust and intake, big gun cdi, gytr nerfs and a complete set of sand paddles and wheels. So you aren't too far off.

do you like your yfz i've only ridden one other 450 it was an 08 ds 450 and was 50/50 on liking it
i ride trails FAST and plan on racing and doing some wild hill climbs out east here.
how much roll is there in fast coners and such any problems
i used to ride dirt bikes till i got hurt a couple times and had a yz 400f which was a factory woods bike and it ran great and had a boat load of power
is the yfz similar

To be completely honest man, I bought that bike for my wife. It hauls *** all but I can't honestly give you a fair evaluation on cornering and handling. It'll do fine hill climbing. plenty of power. I ride a KTM 525 XC and that being said when I ride hers I want to give it back to her immediately. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just that the KTM is that much better. It also costs that much more. If I was starting out though I think I would be pretty much happy overall with it though. Plenty of cheap upgrades available too. I don't find that with the ktm. Already got like 12000 in it

I sold my 06 last fall with your basic bolt-ons for $2900. A just passed on a budies 04 witha full MXP engine,Flexx bars,IMS tank,brand new never used stock suspension,and a few other items for $2000. Of course,it was a buddy deal but still. I wouldn't pay over $2500 for that bike.

i've not found a better deal 3200 sounds like a steal to me with everythig it's got on it you can barley buy a 04 stocker for 2500
