will the VIN number show up in carfax if it has never been registered?
I live in MA and I am the third owner of this ATV. THe first and second owner are also from the same town and we know each other.
The first owner didnt sign the title over to the second owner and I still finding out if he had ever registered it.
I am trying to get the title so I can register it. I have the "duplicate certificate of Title" application ready and it asks for

If he has not registered it, what will I have to do? Can I still get him to get the title duplicate from the DMV?
