i bought a set of axxis gear last year and it still looks brand new, best gear for the money no questions asked, wash with like colors, hang out to dry, DO NOT put in dryer they will shrink(this goes for any type of MX gear) other than that its great quality gear

I have a set and the only thing I don't like about it is the pants are kinda hot. Although I have the next level up pants from msr too and those are hot too, so maybe they are all like that

I bought a set of NXT and a set of Axxis last year, and after wearing the NXT, I just wasn't comfortable in the Axis. The pants seem so much heavier, and they were really hot.

I bought 3 sets of it. Quality is just as good as thor IMO. For the price you can't beat it.

These are the only pics I have of the new gear, so take it for what it's worth...

You should still be able to get your foot in/out of them when they're not broken in. I have a pair tech 6's I may be willing to part with size 13. Bought them as back up boots and I'm not sure if I want to keep them or not.

I find it odd that you would have to go up 2 or 3 sizes for a boot compared to your shoes. I also wear an 11-12 in normal shoes, and I have some alpinestar tech 6's that are a size 11. Yes, I got them a few years ago, but I can still wear them. A 12 would be perfect for me now. Did you have everything unbuckled and the boot opened up all of the way? Could you feel the end of the boot with your toes? You want to make sure they fit, otherwise you are going to have an even harder time trying to learn to shift in them.

i had the entire thing unbuckled and i pulled it open as far as i could

my foot went in fine but i had to point it all the way down to get my foot out of it

they had a bit of wiggle room in them but not much

That's also wierd seeing how the tech 7's run a little big. I wear a 13 in the 6's and an 11 in the 7's.

I'll let yah know if I want to get rid of my tech 6's if you're interested.

Not even broken in yet. I tried them on, walked around in them for a little bit then put them back in the box. I may take them on a ride just to break them on. They've never seen dirt.

wow..im glad i found this..I was just getting ready to order a set of axxis gear from motosport for the 09 season. every other time I have ordered gear its been from my local shop and i just tried the pants on, never looked at the size. I notice when looking at size theres only one number. Is that waist or leg length? In levi jeans i wear a 30 waist, 32 leg. What does the one number represent for riding pants? Thanks alot

that # is the waist

get a size 30 or 32 when you get them
you can tighten them down a good bit
