hood options for a 300ex?

i just bought a busted-***** 300ex and among other things, its missing a hood(nose). i dont wanna buy one new and i cant find one used. what other hoods fix with little fabrication? i made my own but it looks ghetto as $hit. id post a pic but you would all make fun of me lol....so anyway what are my options?

maier plastics had a front nosepiece with race cut fenders on their website. its a close out item so its 50% off at 115 bucks.

i belive some people used to try putting 450r hoods on them but i think that was on one piece fenders like maier. not sure honestly, ive seen people use 250r. just gotta try something that doesnt cost much or wait till some one post pics of it done
