TRX, LTR or YFZ?

Well Im thinking in buying My very first 450cc quad and Im going to get involved into desert racing but I have a little trouble, I cant decide between Honda´s TRX 450, the suzuki LTR 450 or the yamaha YFZ 450what quad you guys think is the best for me?

I will be using it in the desert bcause in the place when Im living there are no tracks

it will be my first 450, my previous quad was a TRX 250

please be respectfull with other people´s opinions

If you are doing only desert, I think the Honda is the best bet. Hondas usually are the first across the line in 99% of desert racing, plus the parts are cheaper, and more readily available.

bought a ltr about 2 months ago new put a cherry bomb on it the other day never raced anything really besides playing around i ate up yfzs trxs raptors everything on the drag strips i was very pleased and how this thing rides on the track and lands on jumps its amazing i had a ltz 400 and best move ive ever made

Hondas are the most reputable in desert racing. Its proven. Suzukis are not. I know this is the suzuki part of the forum so your gonna get biased opinions just like every other section.

I do some desert on my 450r and it is great. And has been very reliable. If i were you get the 450r.

I've seen this thread a million times and even posted one myself... Just like a million other people have and will say, sit on them all and try to test ride them all, then make your decision based on what is the most comfortable for you.

But if you want a biased opinion get a YFZ. :D

ok ill put it to you like this...i had a suzuki before i couldnt tear it up tried plenty of times and that biatch had power thats what sold me...everyone and their momma has a yamaha...im just not a honda fan not knocking anyone kawasaki is nice never rode one but it was between my ltr 450 and a kfx 450 and if you want power and handling i have a stock ltr 450 with lid off and baffle out and cherry bomb i have 2 friends with stock yfz 450s i will smoke them bad no problem...killed a trx 450 with some work...if your not getting a yfz450r i think the ltr 450 is the way to go ive only heard good stuff about the yfz450r i ride trails a lot and starting to ride tracks thats why i got the ltr the suspension is the best the wide a arms and axle saves money haha i love it hope that helps you decide
