need help installing a game

well let me start off with i downloaded the original game off the internet, but i bought a deluxe version of the game and tried to install it but a message popped up saying i had to uninstall the original version so i did that and i still get the message, so i search the computer for the game and it shows up with one file but i cant click or delete it, when i click it it says -

-the game refers to a location that is unavaliable. it could be on a hard drive on this computer, or a network.-

any clue whats going on? thanks

seems like you would need the original installed? kinda weird it asked you to uninstall the original. idk man, try reinstalling the original then restarting and then installing the deluxe.

try reinstalling, then using the uninstall that it puts in program files


if this doesnt work, you can download RegSeeker here, search your entire registry for "hasbro" and "Roller coaster tycoon" and delete anything it finds

try this

click start > run > regedit

find this key and delete it

ya i just bought the disk, i had the disk before but lost it when i moved to my new house so i bought it online ive playing for a while when i get bored at home on stormy days or what ever
