for those who run Amsoil!!!!

what are you guys premixing at on the dominator oil? says it can be up to 50:1, last year i ran about 42:1, just wandering if im a little rich here and should go down to 32:1 like people are telling me?

im running it mixed at 32:1, love the oil, very little smoke runs awsome on it.

40:1 is leaner then 32:1 if you want to put it that way. although more oil in the fuel will actually lean your mixture out more then less oil. anyone confused.... lolo

quit using it went to klotz super tecnoplate 80/20 and love it! (smells good too!) i'm running 3 oz. to the gal. and it's taking care of me so far.

I mix at 50:1 and had like 60-80 hours on the top end of hard riding. only reason to rebuild was compression was getting a bit low amsoil is the stuff man...

Ive always ran klotz super tech.. aswell at 32:1, and if I ran dominator I would still mix at 32:1 just for peace of mind.

The whole 32 or 50:1 debate is quite interesting however, as both sides claim no faults with either, it seems as though it doesnt hurt either way with synthetic or synthetic blends.

I started running Amsoil last year, and I haven't looked back!! I love it, and like nashport_native said, very little smoke. I used to run Klotz, but to me it seemed to be a little "greasy".

Amsoil at 50:1 - runs great- clean, very little smoke but enough oil on the tip to let me know its OK. Best of all a rep gave me a gallon jug of the Amsoil for Free!! If you think your oil is better send me some for free and I'll try it- LOL.

i always run maxima k2 @ 40:1
makes great power, very crisp

got to ride yesterday and went from 40:1 to 50:1 on the dominator and im very pleased with the change

I run the little bottles of Golden Spectro to 5gal of premium; 52:1. Seems to run great; very little smoke even on startup, and hasn't fouled a plug yet even in the woods.

I have been thinking of switching to Klotz Super Techniplate; I had good luck with Castor 927 in the past in my CR and RMX but don't want it seperating or gumming up the motor.

ive run the 927 didnt like it, ran klotz supertechniplate for a couple years and it was ok, but once i switched to the dominator i was settled on the oil i would use the rest of the time i have this R

What about price comparison, seems as though the main players are supertech and dominator. I think last I bought it the klotz was $42 a gal.

I have seen 3 bikes within the last 6 months blow up on oxy fuel and 50:1 dominator. Also seen a few purple rod bearings. It seems to be separating in the tank with oxy fuels when the bike sits for awhile. Keep an eye on it.
