Just getting ready to get the LTR out for the mx season and installed my new protaper bars. Upon mounting them, I noticed a tiny bit of play in my steering stem. I did not notice this before I put it away for the winter so I don't think it's the bearing. It is in the stem and not in the bar mounts because I can see is move on the top dust seal. My bike is an '06 so I am wondering if this is just something that happens to them after a while. Like I said its barely enough to notice but if I'm landing some 60ft + jumps it has be a bit concerned. I did install a precision stabilizer and ran it for a few practices at the end of last season and I noticed the clamp on the bar has shifted slightly. Might this have something to do with it? Thanks, Bob.

i would think the stabalizer could put more abuse onto the tierods and the bearings on them. I would think its your ball bearings on the tierods try tightening them if that doesn't work, i would say replace those bearings.
