Hello,

I want to install a casesaver on my trx250r, but the lower mount is broken of the case.
Does any one have a solution (except for welding).
Should it work with an adapter to the frame or something like that ?

what i do is to have that area machined flat, a deeper hole drilled and tapped and fabricate a spacer to make up the difference in the thickness and use a longer bolt.

got a pic of the damage?

you can tap it out and put a stud in it. get some jb weld and put it on the threads when you thread the stud in.

DAYUMIT!! is that the damage caused by the jumped chain incident ya posted about in the "tensioner thread"? looks like the case is busted at the counter shaft. :eek2: i thought my last case damage was bad.

well the only thing that can cause what happened to me is having the chain to tight. you should have an inch and a half of slack when not setting on the quad. because as the suspension compresses. the chian gets slightly tighter. and if you haev it too tight when your not setting on it. when you jump you will rip the case apart like me.
