What needs to be lubed besides the chain after you wash your quad? Any thing else needs to be lubed? I just hose eveything down with water and wipe it dry, I try to stay away from the electrics. Any advice would be appreciated.

After your done, take out your piston and lube up the crank bearings. Then do your swing arm bearings and your brakes. Also put a coat of wd40 on the engine. its good after cleaning it. Makes your engine look cool;)

A lithium grease is reccomended but you don't have to use it. If you're still running your stock bearing carrier on the rear end of your EX it wouldnt hurt to pop the axle off every now and then and grease the bearings. Unless you have an aftermarket carrier and you ahve a zerk on there then just hit it with a couple pumps.

Just my opinion.

I you have a stock carrier, replace the bearings and such don't regrease them and stick 'em back in. The bearings don't cost that much, and I guarantee that you will kick yourself if you repack instead of replace.

What i meant was pull the axle and pack the carrier full of grease, you don't have to pull the bearings out. Guess I didn't explain it right.
