I was reading about doing the choke removal, and it sounds like a good idea, but i am worried about the start up?? I'm in the process of rebuilding my top end, and i have a White Brothers CDI box on the way. I will be running a 42 pilot jet. From reading the forums, the CDI box can cause start-up issues, and obviously the choke has something to do with starting. So i was wondering if running the cdi along with doing the choke removal was a good idea?? Thanks for any help.

what elevation?

You should be ok with the 42 pilot, just pump the throttle a couple times and then feather it a bit for a minute or two and it should be ok.

I had no choke and stock pilot and WB CDI. I never had a starting problem.
