I have a few questions about ATV registration...
First, How much does it cost...per year...or what ever the time interval is?
Next, what does it take to obtain a registration? Is there any sort of vehicle inspection?
What benefits does a registration offer?
I'm sorry if these questions are kind of basic...But I am pretty new to ATV'ing.

Thanks, and Ride Hard!

I don't know about where you live, but here in indiana its $6 for 3 years. That makes you legal for county road riding in most counties. And that's registration with the department of natural resources.

Do you have to put those numbers on your quad or is there like some sort of notarized card or something that you have to carry?

Yes, there's a card you have to carry. And you also have to put the numbers on both sides of the front half of your atv. Supposed to be visible, but you can get away with a little. As long as they are on there you are safe.
