I used the near chrome from prismatic then the lollypop blue from them also........but the prism is from elsewhere

see thats my hang up....i love that shade of blue( the full frame shot) but im not a big prizm person so that wouldnt bother me. how close does regular trans. blue come to that shade? its kinda hard to tell from pics...and im sure you have seen both in person.

i can adjust the light /dark of the powder....im more interested in the shady of the lolly pop blue. pictures have a way of overexagerating a color.....red is the worst. thats why when you get powder sometimes it doesnt look like it did in the suppliers charts. and with lolly pop running $300 id like to be certain its what im looking for.

my new frame. im partial to blue......but the trans red is an awesome color too. i like the "pop" the blue chris posted....but i am still uncertain as to what the final color will be. red is overdone IMO as a frame color. its classic but i like some of the new stuff available:p

the frame is still several long pieces of steel...lol:p he doesnt make and sell frames ...only for a few that ask....and i asked:D

if he isnt to busy maybe by the end of february. im in no rush....the april hatfield ride is when id like to be up and running:) but if it aint ready...i will hang back with runnin dumb and sgaexer and ride my utility or the new 440:p oops i mean 400:eek:

Pappy.......the "pop" blue has a purple tint in the sun..like the lollypop red has a golden tint........guess thats where the lollypop comes in...........where as the transblue is just trans blue..........

I have triple rates...so the top two will be ruby red and the large bottom springs will be charcoal metallic

How much does it cost to have a frame, a-arms, swing arm, steering stem,and foot pegs powdercoated? Just wonderin how much each would cost and does the cost vary with the different colors.

PC'ed my shock springs today.........top color is mirror red with a red satin pearl in it..and some prism and some silver sparkle..tha satin kind of blocked all that out.oh well....(didnt really like that so i wont do that anymore:D )..and the bottom color is charcoal metallic. The sun shows the colors more vivid,,,,,,,but you can get the idea at least.

Yes cost varies depending on color ,,,,,,,,,,,,,prices are for standard colors......pegs 15each,,,,,,,,frame 195,,,,,,,,swing arm 65 and a arms 65.........including all blasting and stuff...not including any shipping..........Just for your info purposes ;)

Great job Chris! those old springs really stuck out. Other than the webbing, I can't think of anything else on the quad that you could change to make it better. Those springs really finish it off.

Just a bit of polishing here and there...like the front master cylinder........and getting my rear shock revalved by axis......and then the black webbing and the new vent hose for the gas tank in red...........;) :p :D .....and then i will think of some other stuff........

Chris, did you have to sandblast the springs before you pc'd em. I am thinking about doing mine and I heard that if the stock coating is pc you can pc over it w/o stripping.

i didnt sand blast,,,i chemical stripped


But yes if the stock coating is PC you can go over it...........IF you get a good ground and you get it free of fingerprints, etc like usual.

Personally i would strip them down and start from scratch;)
