is fcr carb and port and polish worth the money for 440 ex?

one of the guys that i ride with is going to have his 400ex built to a 440 with a fmf header/fmf muffler/cam /rev box/modified air box lid/ and i would like to know if any one has had similar mods done plus porting and polishing and the fcr carb and if you did was the money spent worth as far as a real HP difference?i have heard that the porting and polishing on a 440 does not show much of a increase in power so any one who has experience otherwise i would like to hear from you about it.:cool:

YES and YES, well worth the money, and i have a 440, the port and polish will open that motor up, and a FCR is awesome "if it's jetted right"

Yeah the FCR will wake up anything. It is great. Port and Polish-If done right is also great.
