I shaved the fenders on my 400! What do you think?

WOW IT'S DIRTY!!!!!! it looks good, but get a pic of it w/o the fenders but clean! your quad looks sweet. i want that graphics kit, but i also like no graphics.

Brian, how did u do the white lettering? i tried it and it wore off in 2 days. i used a paint pen and put 2 coats on it.

That is the same thing I did "jb400exxx." Mine is wearing now a little and I will just have to retouch it if I want to keep it. I guess not allot can withstand the abuse you can put one though in some trail riding.

Man, I must be too old to understand this one. Cutting the fender looks good? Are you guys kidding me? It looks like a bad haircut. Not to mention the extra mud that you'll have to wipe from your goggles after every mudhole that you splash into. Sorry guys, I'm not a big fan of the form or function. No offense. Ordinarliy I wouldn't place a negative post like this, but I'm trying to provide the thread starter with another opinion.

I like the stock ones , but the cut look nice if you cut them like that if you cut it ALL off the side its ugly:devil , but if you race mx then cut it if not then its a waste of fenders, plus you have to wipe mud off of goggles,:huh ooo and with stock fenders you can have clean goggles and stickers lots of them:blah

i think it looks great...cutting the fenders make you feel alot more comfortable in your quad....u get used to the mud part lol.

Thanks for the comments gang. I guess it is too late to go back to WITH fenders but I got her pretty muddy the other day and I really did not notice allot more mud on me than with fenders.

i dunno, when i buy my 400ex and if it has shaved fenders im gonna buy some factory ones, just love the look of a good xc quad. But it looks good either way.

slice the lil tails off like you blocked out inwhite, then i noticed you got the omf scoops too, cut those on the back, lower part on an angle so they dont keep sweeping back where theres no fender
