Front Shock Bushings Completely Gone!!

I am missing both of the front shock bushings on my '08 Outlaw 525 IRS. I have only had the quad for a couple months and it has only been raced twice. The rubber is completely gone so the shock wobbles at the joint where the shock meets the frame. Metal on metal. Not good. Is this a common problem? Is there a better bushing to buy other than the OEM?

Happened to my 525s after less than a month. ive seen it enough to where Polaris must know about it. Mine were completely disintegrated. I have yet to find a replacement. Maybe try an auto parts store. the bushing needs to be spot on tho to keep the shock from wobbling.

I ordered some new ones from Polaris and the replacements came back plastic instead of rubber. Time will tell if this is a better setup...

We have plastic on the predator! I haven't had any trouble with mine.....whats the difference in them? If nothing, look into the pred ones!

After one month of hard riding on my 08 525S, I also had to replace both side front top bushings. They were COMPLETELY gone just as you stated. I could not find any of the right size replacement- went to a buddy who owns a 4x4 shop to search for Polyurethane- without success. Ordered the replacement OEMs from Polaris and they are balck Polyurethane- no problems or sign of wear since.
