Engine stalls and then no start.

I have this problem with my ’06 LTR. It starts no problem when cold. However while riding it stalls when i come to a stop (no idle). Then it doesn’t want to start again, cranking the motor for minutes before it fires up and stops again. After a long while (3-5 min) it starts again. No loss in performance noted. It drives me crazy, specially during races!!! Please help.

Maybe check your valves. I had the same problem with mine. My intake valves were way too tight from the valve seats wearing down.

I got told its the fuel filter...???

sounds like the fuel filter or the fuel regulator.

i don't got an ltr but i've had this problem on 2 other quad check the igniton and the fan or the radiator
if it stops for only a couple minutes the ignition could be cooling down or the radiator
