450r shock

ok guys i know some of you can answer me on this. my cousin has about an 03-04 trx 400ex with a worn out rear shock. now my question will a 450r rear shock fit on it? any help would be greatly appreciated!

well it took some work but i managed to get an 07 shock to fit in my 99 400ex had to modify leftside gusset on upper shock mount cuz the 450r's rezivoir isnt centered like the 400's but i noticed a big improvement in ride and landing and what not would def recomend it
