i have a 2006 cr-125 that i just bought last week. the guy i bought it from put a 48 tooth rear renthal sprocket on and i'm not liking the way it is riding. i just went and checked it out to see if i can change it and it looks alot more complicated than my 400ex is (obvious). can anyone help me out with how to change the sprocket on a dirtbike?

probably going to have to losten the sproket bolts. pull the axle bolt drop the wheel down take the sproket off, put the new one on. then put the wheel back up and on put the axle bolt through. and tighten the chain.

I took the axle nut off and the tire just wobbles back and forth, i sat and stared at it for a good 20 minutes trying to see if there's something i am missing, i can't get this damn wheel off to get the sprocket off.

Did you pop the axle out?
