How hard is it to replace the steering stem bearing in a 250ex?

Thanks
Sam

its a pita just like all the other quads. Gotta remove the snap ring on the bottom of the frame and then the one on the top and then force it out up (if you are laying under the quad) Then get the other one in there. and assemble the snap rings and then put the bearing seals ona nd you are good to go.

thanks bro! I was looking at a 2002 250ex here and he said all it needed was a new bearing and the valves adjusted, I dont know if its worth the savings or not if its going to be a nightmare to fix?

Once you get the bearing out its not too bad, but getting the old one out sucks, i did this on a 03 250ex last summer, took about 2hrs. Oh and stick the new bearing in the freezing for like 15mins. this shrinks it up and makes it slide right into place and it expands right back out after it warms back up
