I have an 06 250ex and was wondering what kind of inexpensive shock you would advise to improve the rear suspension???????

300ex rear shock
banshee front shock
works 250ex rear shock
2001 raptor 660 rear shock
think elka makes 250ex shocks too, not sure though
any of those would work
hope this helps

i run a banshee front on the rear on mine and it works like it was meant for it. it lowers the rear slightly but is very progressive and smooth. pretty cheap too if you look diligently for it.

do the banshee rear if your are not doing big jumps
fronts do the diamond j conversion with some 450r fronts. you will love your new quad!

It's actually my daugther's 90lbs wet, she raced a HS this weekend and it was bouncing her all over
Dont want to do the widening kit our trails are tight and the 400/r shock would still be too stiff, will do the banshee shock. anyone how long the blaster shock are?

My son is bout 170 lbs. Had a 2001 raptor rear shock but was too stiff. Between the banshee front and the 300ex rear which is better. He does pretty much only XC. THNXS

from what ive heard, the 300ex is stiff, but as stiff, and the banshee is a little soft
