450r rear shock question

I just put on 450r front shocks on my 05 400. I was wondering if it would be worth to also change the rear shock as well to match them up together. How big of difference between the two rear shocks. Thanks also what years fit the 400. I noticed that the 07 450 shock does not fit the 05 year 450. Just want to make sure these will fit on the 400.

no keep the stock 400ex rear the 450r rear is not any better.
