taking tires off hipers

got some dual hipers in the rear and need to put new tires on....i am told u unbolt the rings and the tire slides off.....slide the new one on ans bolt back up at 8 ft ppounds is this all it is or am i missing something?

That's right in a nutshell. It's not very hard. Once you get it apart you will be able to tell how everything is put together.

I would strongly suggest cleaning all of the bolts with a wire wheel and applying waterproof grease on them before installing. Just a tidbit since most of them are aluminum going into aluminum
