Oil filter spring

How long should the oil filter spring be i have a spring here that looks like it might be it but not to sure so i thought i would ask you guys thanks and please help me out cause i wanna get some oil in this thing and get her fired up thanks Ty

that spring is only about 1/2 an inch long. look in the back of the hole where the filter goes.. there is a place for the spring to sit. see if the spring fits in the place..

yup it fits and ya it's that size you said thanks man for helpin me out i thought i should check just incase it is the wrong one lol now i can go out and put that in and get some oil in it thanks again man
