i just got done rebuilding my 400ex i sent the motor to ct racing to make it a 426. i have a ton of power in 2nd and 3rd gear but when i get into fourth or fifth i feel like theres no power. the bike shifted fine and the tranny was fine before the rebuild i only did top end work. any suggestions?

chk your clutch cable for proper free play. your clutch might be going out, it will slip in the taller gears first.

If its jetted to rich on the main it will act like that. Do you know that feeling? Did they jet it or you?

Well I talked to Allen the owner of Ct racing and he told me to start with a 170 165 so I put the 165 in first I'm going to try a 160 and mess with the clutch
Cable I will keep you posted thanks for all the help so far

Watch your back when dealing with CT Racing. I fear for you if you have any problems with that engine. Allen Knowles is a piece of work, very rude and unprofessional.

Trust me I know they were recommended to me but to say the least I wouldn't recommends them to anyone.
