alum. skid plate

Just curious if someone has a skid plate for under the motor for sale, really like the pro armor but im sure there are some other good ones, anyone have one for sale, or know where i could get one for a great price..

IS there any reason plastic would be better than alum.

NO plastic is not better and if you have some time on your hands and a lil know how you can make one out of a street sign I've seen it before and its free if you steal the sign. Other than that I have a Cobra skid plate which i really like

I had a skid plate on my kfx400 made out of HDPE plastic and it was indestructible. I recently made one for my KFX450 from the same plastic I ordered on the net. The plastic is way better in that it slides better over rocks and logs, also when your in the snow it doesn't stick to it like it does to the aluminum. TAG also makes the plastic skid plates, you won't be disappointed. Hope that helps and if you want to see some pics of the one I made let me now.
