cr250 case spliting.

hey i have a cr250 im trying to split the cases on and its not really working i have a case splitter on the flywheel side and when i was tightening it i herd a pop once but other then that nothing. and its pretty tight i had some antifreeze leek out of the bottom of the case i don't no wtf thats about it came out the crack. but i was pretty much just wondering if there suppose to be this hard to split?

Tap on the cases with a rubber mallet as you "slowly" tighten the case splitter.
That should do it.

It is not easy splitting cases if it has not been done in a while. I just split my crf450 and it takes some time to seperate them. Just be gentle and do not pry on the mating surface.
