k my bike iver heated today i know i need to drill holes in the plastic around the radiator but dont know where at some one got pics of there bike with the holes drilled
We drill holes in the plastic around the fuel tank to keep fuel from boiling, not the radiator. All kinds of things can cause you to over heat. Lets start with the basics.
1. Was your radiator covered with mud?
2. Whens the last time you changed your coolant and what type are you using?
3. Is your thermostat flowing, the hose out of it is there flow there.
4. Is there any coolant coming out of the wheep hole by your pump?
5. Did your quad experience reduced performance when it over heated? Limp mode?
6. Do you have any leaks, is the system pressurized? Do you have a oressure/vacuum pump you can pressure it up through the cap to 16PSI, see if it holds.
