Im tryin to decide whether to race my local points race that weekend or head to bowling green national for the first time. What class are you guys racing or are most of you goin to just hang out and watch the pros?

How is the track set up there anyways?

hey max i have personally been to that track and raced it. hell its only an hour and a half from where i live in indiana. but back to the point the track is always kept in really good condition. very nice rythem section by the flag tower and the whoops are very good in the fact that there is no really fast way to get through them. they also have a few sky jumps there

Ballance MX is one of the best tracks I've ever been to, I will definitely be there...racing and watching.

alrite awesome sounds like its going to be packed. I checked out the ballance website to see what time the practice and races start but it doesnt seem very clear to me.

If I race C class I'll be able to practice at 8am - ?? on Saturday?
And then racing will be on Sunday for all classes?... (A,B,C, pro am, and pros)

Let me know what the weekend schedule is please for those of you who've been there. Thanks

every national is the same way

Friday is practice, you sign up for a group that your racing in, (ex: production b, practice with the B class, obviously lol)

saturday they give everyone the oppurtunity to run 3 laps before the races start, in the same group you practiced in on friday. The pros and pro production practice and qualify on saturday, the pro am unlimited class qualifies and runs their motos, I beleive the pro am womens run both of their motos, and all the ameteurs run their qualifier.

Sunday, they give everyone the oppurtunity to run 2 laps of practice before the races start, the pro and pro production run their motos, and the ameteurs run theire second moto

I stopped in there on my way back from Georgia last week and the track was slop. The promoters just had started to setup and we talked to the head guy and he said that they are really praying that the track was gonna hold up. There were spots with lots of water in them and it was greasy as hell.

I know they have been getting hit pretty good with rain, so I hope to hear that things are good and have dried up. I know they did have a few piles of wood chips sitting there ready to be spread.

I wish I could be down there! My quads will be there, but not me. :ermm:
